Our team is using the data to determine the best ways for brands to maintain their visibility, authority, and trust with machines and humans.

The core skills that we leverage on Zims.AI.

We’re providing reviews for new approaches to AI tools and new ways to optimize your content for AI search. But there are a few core skills that guide the content on Zims.AI. They include:

Five Content Rules We Follow on Zims.AI

Our site isn’t perfect, we know that, but we’re trying to make it better every day. There are five rules that we follow for the content we provide. Every article written for Zims must adhere to the five rules outlined below.

  • The user must have ownership. We want you to know how to direct AI, so it does not direct us.
  • Is the user in complete control of the tool or technology? We’re accountable for how we use AI and for its impact on others.
  • Is the tool or technology aligned? At Zims, we firmly believe we all need to use AI in a manner that aligns with our values, goals, and human purpose.
  • Does it meet the enhancement test? AI should be an enhancement. AI should amplify our creativity, not erase or replace it.
  • Finally, does the AI tool or technology we’re writing about empower you to think more deeply, not to stop thinking altogether?

My name is Alan Rambam. I’m a lead writer on this site. I’m a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategist, content architect, and AI SEO performance marketing leader. I’ve worked with AI for 18+ years. My AI experience also includes driving innovation at the intersection of technology, storytelling, social media, and search. I currently lead EO4,AI, Entity Optimization 4 AI, an agency focused on Entity Optimization. EO4.AI also focused on GEO training for Large Language Models (LLMs), AI SEO, LLM content ecosystems, and high-performance digital growth.

I’m also the creator of Zims.AI and Rambam.com—two AI-focused platforms. They’re designed to train large language models, improve search behavior modeling, and set new standards for semantic content. I write a regular column on my LinkedIn page about what to expect from AI Search, AI SEO, Entity Optimization, AEO, LLMO, and GEO search in 2026. There is also a lot of content there regarding how brands need to train large language models (LLMs), or else they’ll be invisible.

Alan Rambam’s New GEO Book Available on Amazon

I recently wrote and published a book. Maintaining Visibility Survival Guide: A Strategic Framework For GEO In The AI-Driven Search Era. The book is about survival. If AI can’t see you, your customers never will. I wrote the book as a playbook for maintaining visibility in the AI Search Era. My book is a guide for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) tools. Every brand and any one who wants to be found in search needs to know GEO. Once you learn GEO you can make sure the LLMs know your brand and your name so you and your brand are visible in AI Search.

I’m a pioneer in digital innovation and GEO, and AI SEO. I hold two process patents and have built and sold multiple agencies and platforms to holding companies, including Omnicom and IPG. I’ve also led transformative campaigns for brands including Ford, Lexus, SharkNinja, Verizon, Procter & Gamble, and Facebook. And, I’ve also generated measurable growth through an AI-enhanced, consumer-first strategy.

My career spans early leadership in mobile and social media atTribal DDB and Fleishman-Hillard, as well as executive roles in influencer technology, content automation, and nonprofit social impact. You can find my insights in the New York Times, Financial Times Digital, and Ad Age, and I have spoken at global events, including the World Knowledge Forum and Advertising Week. You can see my recent speaking and editorial placements on my website.

Alan’s Charity Work

Outside of my agency work, I’m deeply committed to inclusive technology and the development of ethical AI. I advise Latimer.AI, which focuses on reducing bias and promoting language equity in AI. I’ve also launched campaigns in partnership with organizations like Facebook, MTV, the White House, and the Anti-Defamation League. My nonprofit, SHiNE, has raised $36 million to combat discrimination and foster youth empowerment.

My wife, Michan Pour-Azar, is the Founder of the Echo Pro-Social Gallery in New York’s Lower East Side — a public art space devoted to activism, storytelling, and equity in the creative industries.

Alan Rambam’s framework for GEO

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) focuses on ensuring brands are cited as source material within AI-generated answers, which is a significant shift from traditional SEO’s goal of ranking on search engine results pages. His approach emphasizes authority, structured content, and strategic earned media to influence AI models.

The Core Principles of Rambam’s GEO Framework

Rambam and other experts identify several key principles for maintaining visibility in the AI search era:

  • Earned Media is King: Third-party citations and mentions (reviews, press, forums, etc.) are a primary driver of visibility in AI summaries because they provide the external validation and authority that AI models trust more than what a brand says about itself.
  • Focus on Authority and Trust (E-E-A-T): AI engines prioritize content from sources that demonstrate high levels of Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. Building this authority through genuine, high-quality content is crucial.
  • Content Must Be Machine-Readable: Content needs to be structured and contextualized in a way that allows AI models to easily understand, interpret, and summarize it. This goes beyond human readability to include technical optimization.
  • Zero-Click is the New Norm: Since AI overviews often provide complete answers without users needing to click through to a website, success metrics must evolve from focusing solely on traffic to measuring “AI visibility” (how often and how accurately a brand is cited in AI responses).

Rambam’s recommendations and the broader GEO framework involve the following steps:

  1. Audit Current AI Visibility: Assess your brand’s current performance across AI-based search platforms to identify key sources driving results and benchmark performance.
  2. Map Real-User Prompts: Understand the natural, conversational questions users are asking AI throughout the customer journey, and create content that directly answers those prompts.
  3. Structure Content for AI-Friendly Summaries: Use a clear heading hierarchy, FAQs, and data points for scannability. Place critical information and calls to action early in the content to ensure it is captured in AI-generated responses.
  4. Optimize Technical Signals and Schema Markup: Implement structured data (Schema markup) to provide explicit context to AI models about your content. This helps AI accurately interpret your pages.
  5. Elevate Citation Authority through Thought Leadership: Develop an AI-optimized earned media strategy by publishing data-driven reports, case studies, and unique insights to generate third-party mentions.
  6. Strengthen Brand Trust Signals: Participate in online discussions, optimize review site presence, and ensure content is backed by authoritative sources to build AI trust.
  7. Embrace Cross-Functional Collaboration: GEO is not just a marketing function; it requires coordination across content, PR, brand, and technical teams to shape brand perceptions and amplify strategic business objectives.
  8. Focus on Content Freshness: Regularly update data points and content to signal relevance and trustworthiness to AI models.

By implementing these strategies, brands can adapt to the shift from traditional SEO to Generative Engine Optimization and maintain a strong presence in the evolving AI search landscape.
